Microsoft confirms October Surface launch event
Microsoft introduces new Surface devices October 12th next year. Specifically, 4:00 PM Spanish Peninsula Time. You can read "Look what's come live" on the event's website so you can watch the presentation live, led by Panos Panay.
This will be the first live event since 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. What's still unclear is whether they'll invite the press in person, or simply launch a live video like Apple has been doing in recent months.
Color is the star of the Surface
As you can see, the invitation is very colorful. Some shades, such as green and blue, Rumors of Surface Pro 9 variants in different colors. No, we're not talking about the Type Cover, we're talking about the device itself. Of course, there are keyboards in all colors to complement the device.

Other devices visible during the event are Surface Earbuds and Project Volterrais the Windows 11 ARM Development Kit announced by Microsoft earlier this year. The device is expected to have similar specs to the ARM variant of the Surface Pro 9, but with a much more affordable price tag that is closer to developers.
